This week was truly unforgettable. This week set the precedents of what the future of this chapter will look like. Our officers really worked hard to make this week a success. Our officers deserve a big appreciation for all the hard work they put into this chapter. We are so glad to have put together an unbelievable officer team this year. Not only do our officers deserve a big appreciation for what they do for this chapter, but our members deserve a huge thank you for participating in this amazing chapter. WIthout the wonderful members we have we would not be able to have a great chapter.
On Wednesday of this week, we had our first ever fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen. This event was put together by the wonderful and talented Erica Alejaldre (Fundraising Head). We had an amazing turnout at the fundraiser! We had about 50 people come to the event. Our members as well as Erica deserve a big thank you for making the fundraiser so successful. All the money that was raised from this fundraiser will go toward building a house in broward County.
This Saturday our chapter had another Restore volunteer opportunity! At the Restore our members participated in a turkey give away. Our members also organized the crown molding section of the store, helped customers, and organized shelves. To our surprising we participated in the new craze a Restore manikin challenge.
