Pei Wei, Our Way!

This past Thursday, my eyes fluttered open to the sound of my phone beeping with a reminder flashing "Habitat for Humanity fundraiser". Our fundraising committee had been working on this project for weeks and today was finally the big day. Phone calls had been made, meeting with mangers had been completed, and scheduled time slots had been typed out. From 3 pm to 9 pm, our dedicated officers held shifts in Weston's local Pei Wei. With a clipboard in one hand and a pen in the other, we set off to the restaurant.

Once inside, we set up shop at table near the entrance. As members of our Cypress Bay chapter filed through the doors, we took account of their name, grade, and phone number to ensure our system worked smoothly. With 20% of the proceeds made in our name being transferred to our chapter, this Pei Wei night was a major success.
