Habitat for Humanity hosted the First Annual Soccer Tournament and it was a wild success! The tournament had a range of teams play and everyone made their contribution to changing Broward. All of the contributions from this event go toward the cause of providing affordable housing!
The Habitat for Humanity officers wanted to have an event that would be a wild success. They chose to have a Soccer Tournament, headed by Erica Alejaldre, Chase Febles, and Andrea Ferreira. With three weeks of planning, they were able to gather all of the teams, supplies and find a location where the tournament could take place.

All of the teams participated in a single-elimination knockout bracket with the winning team receiving a cash prize.
Not only did teams have fun off the field they had fun on the field as well! Events like these are what Habitat hopes every event to be like!
