This past Wednesday, Habitat for Humanity of Cypress Bay hosted it's fifth General Meeting! With over 300 members in the club, the meetings are big event. Members all convene at the Cypress Bay Media Center after school to discuss important upcoming events and to recognize outstanding members for their dedication and hard work.

The Habitat for Humanity President of Cypress Bay, Matthew Liebman, got everyone excited about the club by starting chants saying "We are Habitat". The general meetings do an amazing job of bringing everyone together and keeping spirits high.

Some notable events coming up are the Foster Kids Child Harbour Event on February 10th, Kakes for Kids on March 3rd, and the Basketball Tournament on February

10th.

This General meeting was also special because Habitat for Humanity took it's first yearbook picture. Since becoming a club last year, this is the first time Habitat for Humanity will be featured in the yearbook. This is a big milestone that commemorates all the hard work that has been done to make this club prosper and thrive.

Afterwards, members enjoyed beverages and snacks outside to thank them for their amazing participation!
