Habitat for Humanity isn't just a club, it's a family. This year Habitat for Humanity decided to hold a workshop to strengthen the bond between our officers, to boost the morale of the club.

The officers were randomly split into five different teams: Green, Black, Red, Purple, and Blue. On the day of the bonding the officers all met up and embarked on a scavenger hunt throughout Weston. There were numerous riddles that had to be solved and the teams had to work together to find as many things as possible to win. The teams had to complete tasks such as find someone wearing Crocs, hold a pet at a pet store, and find a red convertible. The teams also had to take pictures of special Habitat stickers in

various locations. Once the scavenger hunt was finished all the officers met up again and tallied to points for the amount of objects found and the winning team was given a trophy. Afterwards, the officers all relaxed, at pizza, and socialized.

The bonding was a huge success. All of the officers thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Now all the officers, are closer than ever which means that club will run even smoother. We hope to continue to have Officer Bonding days to welcome the new officers for years to come.
